Driving vs flying from the UAE
By road
Abu Dhabi → Ghuwaifat / Al Batha border is the main crossing, roughly 4–5 hours from Dubai. The eVisa is accepted at the border. Carry the vehicle Mulkiya, a UAE driving licence, an insurer road/export permit and GCC orange-card insurance. Riyadh is about 10–11 hours of driving from Dubai; Dammam roughly 6.
By air
